Housewife Fashion Editorial for HUF Magazine

The classic ideal American housewife… isolated at home, to be overloaded with housework and chores. Recent findings have shown that housework overload have led family wives to be doomed with psychological mental disorders. Women’s inclusion in the job market, unlike men’s, is limited by their domestic and family responsibilities, in a way that their job must be adapted to their other roles. Hence, whether they are included or not in the job market, in general, women are housewives and do chores which, despite being essential for everyone’s well-being and survival, are socially undervalued and disregarded. This fashion photoshoot was created to help portray some of the mental instability that can arise with such a lifestyle.
